Digital x-rays produce the best look at the mouth that technology can provide. Our digital system has lower radiation for patients with more accurate imaging than older methods. Our advanced dental imaging simplifies things for the patient and for the dentists as well. Images take less than a minute and provide a complete visualization of the nerves of a tooth. Plus, these images provide our dentists a clear view of the sinuses, teeth, and bones in order to accurately and preemptively help prevent the furthering of issues like TMJ, the placement and planning of implants, and even procedures that can lead to oral surgery or orthodontic treatment.
Panoramic Image
The digital panoramic unit is perfect for an in-depth look at the lower face and line of jaws. Clear visuals of the maxillary sinuses, mandibular condyles, maxilla, nose, and mandible speed up and simplify the discovery of major issues you may suffer from now or in the future. The panoramic image also displays root placement, and the direction in which teeth may still be emerging.
3D Rendering
3D rendering takes images from our x-ray machines and helps manipulate them into clear maps of the mouth. This assists our dental team in seeing around tough-to-reach parts of the mouth for a total view.
X Rays
X-rays are vital in the process of preventative diagnosis. A regular exam is important for oral health, but it is much more helpful to get this detailed look at the teeth, gums, and jaw. Finding abnormalities is crucial to healthy patients, and we are able to find the following during an x-ray exam:
- The loss of bone or tooth strength
- Tumors, whether life threatening or non-life threatening
- Improper root development and positioning
- Cysts or abscesses
- Emerging decay in teeth and gums
